WORLD RECORD (KAISILAMBAM)
Our Students were the part of the largest Self Defence Class for girls with 1,35,947/- participants held at 365 different locations across 19 districts in Tamilnadu. The participants were trained in Kaisilambam (Traditional Martial Arts of India).
ANNUAL DAY
The Registrar of Periyar Maniammai University Dr.S.A.Dhanaraj presided over the function. Asiriyar Ayya Manamigu Dr.K.Veeramani spoke to the audience stressing the importance of education and following the ideals of Thanthai Periyar.
FOUNDERS DAY
“We had broader views, we want to reach out in the community, we want to be more than just a social group”. The founder’s day of our school was celebrated on 11-10-2017 and Aasiriyar Ayya Manamigu Dr. K. Veeramani presided over the function. Mr. Thanasekara Pandiyan, Asst. Director of Social welfare dept and Mr. Thirumavelan, Editor of Junior Vikatan participated and delivered their address. All the audience were enthusiastic.
STUDENT TOUR
“Take a deep breath, and just enjoy your life, relax, refresh, recharge”. Our School students went to Black Thunder on 28.09.2017.
GRAND PARENTS DAY
“When I think about my grandparents , I think of Smiles, Hugs and fun times together”. Grandparents day (I –V Std) was celebrated in our school on 16.09.2017. The chief of the meet was Mr. Gnasebastin aged 99 years, correspondent of Periyar College of Pharmaceutical Sciences who felicitated the audience by his honourable presence. Finally games were conducted for the Grand parents. Prizes and certificate were distributed.
PLANETARIUM VISIT AT NSK ARANGAM
The personal from Pudukkottai planetarium came to our complex and conducted a programme by erecting a model planetarium. Our School students participated enthusiastically. (08-09-2017).
TATAEDGE TRAINING PROGRAMME
“Technical skills constitute the company’s mainstay and stock in trade”. And most important think is questioning mindset. Our staff attended the Tata Edge training programme on 05-09-2017.
KIDS CARNIVAL (COMPETITION)
Suriyan FM “KIDS Carnival” programme was conducted in our campus with various competition. More than 150 schools participated and won the prizes. (02-09-2017)
Motivation Programme
“Motivation is the key to success” - Motivation program (26-08-2017) was conducted for our school student (X, XI & XII) by Mr. Jegan, Motivational Speaker.
Postal Competition
“Letter to Parents” - Tamilnadu postal department conducted a letter writing competition on 12.08.2017. Many students participated in the competition from our school.
Independance Day Competition
“Let us come together to felicitate our glorious nation and feel proud to be an Indian”. Our Students participated in various competition and won prizes. (12-08-2017)
Science Exhibition :
“Science of today is the technology of tomorrow”. Our students participated in the science exhibition on 10.08.2017 and won prizes.
Dr.Abdul Kalam Birthday :
“You have to dream before your dreams can come true”. Abdul Kalam’s birthday was celibrated on 27.07.2017 in our school premises.
Sports Day :
“Sports is the greatest physical poetry” – Our school sports day was conducted on 21.07.2017. Mr. Somasekar addressed the gathering and distributed the medals and certificates.
Kalvi Vallal Kamaraj Birthday
Our School celebrated Kamaraj Birthday as Educational Development Day by conducting Various competitions and distributed the prizes on 15-07-2017.
Investiture Ceremony
“A Dream inspires a leader, A leader inspires others to dream”. The Association leaders and school pupil leader were elected for the year 2017-2018 swear in to carry out their duties with utmost sincerity. Dr. F. Selvakumaran, Associate Professor & Head, Dept. of Tamil, of St. Joseph’s College, Trichy was the Guest of Honour and he delivered a speech on Leadership Qualities. (10-07-2017)
LEPROSY CAMP
The biggest disease today is not leprosy and tuber culosis, but rather the feeling of being neglected. Chief Doctors and Team from Govt. Hospital, Trichy conducted an awareness programme on 07-07-2017.
Yoga Class
“Inhale the future exhale the past”. Students and Staff gave demo on yoga postures and exercise in the Celebration of International yoga day on 21-06-2017. Students were participated in yoga and received the Certificates.
KG Student Opening Ceremony
KG Re-opening ceremony was conducted in a Grand manner on 14-06-2017. “The kids of kinder garten is confident in sprit, infinite in resources and eager to learn. Everything is still possible”. The parents participated in that programme enthusiastically.
Faculty Development Programme
Faculty Development programme for our staff members conducted by Periyar Maniammai University, Vallam on 02.05-2017. The Topic are Communication Skill, Stress Management and Time Management.
